HMMH Joins Launch of Canadian Advanced Air Mobility Consortium (CAAM)

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Oct. 28, 2020) – The future of flight in Canada has taken a major step forward with the launch of the Vancouver-based Canadian Advanced Air Mobility Consortium (CAAM). Advanced Air Mobility, or AAM, involves the use of zero-emission, electric or hydrogen fuel cells, and vertical takeoff aircraft to provide transportation, emergency, and supply chain services for urban and rural communities. CAAM is a multi-stakeholder group that will streamline research, development, and commercial operations in the AAM sector.

Leveraging expertise from industry, government, and academia, CAAM is made up of a group of strategic members that are working collaboratively to advance AAM in the Vancouver, B.C. region, the Cascadia corridor extending into Washington State to the south, and throughout Canada. As an industry member assisting with the public acceptance of aircraft operations, HMMH is excited to be a part of the CAAM launch.
