HMMH Certified as a Women-Owned Business

03.09.2015 |

HMMH is pleased to announce that two of its executive managers, Mary Ellen Eagan (CEO) and Diana Wasiuk (COO), have acquired a controlling stake in HMMH, making HMMH a women-owned business. Ms. Eagan and Ms. Wasiuk will continue serving in their current capacities and look forward to a new phase in the life of a company with such rich legacy.  Founders Nick Miller and Bob Miller will continue to be actively engaged at HMMH, but have taken steps to ensure that HMMH thrives as a multigenerational company by turning over ownership as well as management of the company to its next generation of leaders. HMMH has secured a Small Business Administration (SBA) certification as an economically disadvantaged women-owned small business (EDWOSB); additional certifications are pending.

We look forward to continuing to serve our clients with our hallmark technical excellence and client satisfaction.

“Completing our ownership transition has been one of the major strategic goals for HMMH over the past few years, and we are glad to be able to do so while maintaining our corporate identity and long-term client relationships,” said Mary Ellen Eagan.  “Securing Federal and state disadvantaged business designations opens up promising opportunities for adding value to our relationships with clients and teaming partners alike.  We hope that those opportunities will also translate into new and interesting work for our staff – it’s an exciting time for HMMH!” added Diana Wasiuk.

HMMH is pleased to welcome Katherine Preston to the firm. As a Principal Consultant in the Aviation Group, Katherine will be instrumental in providing support to our aviation and climate and energy markets.

Prior to joining HMMH, Katherine served as Senior Director for Environmental Affairs at ACI-NA, and was an environmental policy analyst at the Boeing Company.
