HMMH Holds Annual Shareholders Meeting

12.03.2018 |

Burlington, MA – HMMH recently held its 37th annual shareholder’s meeting at its corporate headquarters in Burlington, MA. The evening was spent reviewing HMMH’s financial and strategic performance over the past year, electing board members, and recognizing several staff accomplishments.

HMMH founders Andy Harris, Nick Miller, Bob Miller, and Carl Hanson presented the 2018 Founders’ Award to Bradley L. Nicholas for leading HMMH’s recent work at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Founders’ Award recognizes “outstanding performance on a project that was uniquely challenging, technically innovative, and resulted in proven client satisfaction.” Other technical staff also recognized as contributing to this project included Eugene Reindel (HMMH Director of Aviation Environmental Services), Michael Hamilton (HMMH’s GIS Specialist) and Scott McIntosh (Consultant). George Hohlacov, Associate Director, Airport Planning for Greater Toronto Airports Authority offered the following: “GTAA and HMMH worked collaboratively to complete the noise modeling work for Toronto Pearson International Airport under time pressure while applying new approach to better reflect the noise exposure under different air traffic flow patterns. The whole experience working with the dedicated HMMH team – Gene, Brad, Scott, Mike and all the others that supported this effort restlessly – was exciting, enlightening and a real pleasure despite the huge pressure we were under to deliver to really tight deadlines and despite all the challenges we had to overcome on the fly.”

Mary Ellen Eagan, HMMH’s President and CEO awarded the Consultant of the Year Award to Rhea Gundry, for her work managing HMMH’s acoustical on-call contract for the Maryland Department of Transportation, Maryland Aviation Administration (MDOT MAA). Robin Bowie, HMMH’s client and Director of MDOT MAA’s Office of Environmental Services had the following to say, “Rhea’s in-depth understanding of the environmental software system used by our program, her experience with other noise programs and industry best practices were all invaluable during the early stage of our program’s ‘realignment’. She literally blew us away with her efficiency and her ‘we can do this’ attitude.”

HMMH also observed a number of service awards, including: the 5-year service anniversary of Marketing Manager Crystale A. Wozniak, 10-year anniversary of Director of Air Quality Philip M. DeVita, 20-year anniversary of Principal Consultant David A. Crandall, and 35-year anniversary of Senior Vice President Christopher W. Menge.
