Logan C. Katsoufis

Staff Consultant Specializing in Noise and Vibration Analysis

Logan Katsoufis has been a consultant in the Surface Transportation Group since 2023. He is dedicated to the analysis, measurement, and research of noise and vibration projects such as highway and construction noise prediction, rail and transit, as well as underwater pile-driving noise. He has a diverse experience conducting and leading noise and vibration monitoring throughout the country.

Logan is adept at using software such the FHWA’s Traffic Noise Model (TNM) version 2.5 and attended early training for version 3.1 on how to improve the software for the public and consultants. He is also experienced in software such as ARCGIS, SoundPLAN, EASE, and B&K, Larson Davis, and Sigicom noise meter and internal software.

Before HMMH, Logan’s experience focused working on architectural acoustics projects for highly sensitive recording and live music clients. Mr. Katsoufis holds a B.S in Acoustics from Columbia College Chicago.
