Santa Monica City Hall Demolition Noise and Vibration Monitoring Services

The City of Santa Monica has retained HMMH to perform noise and vibration monitoring services for the partial demolition of the existing city hall building and construction of a new city services building. HMMH is developing a noise and vibration monitoring program as part of this project and will then implement that program through comprehensive monitoring for the duration of the project. Noise and vibration monitoring data will be processed, analyzed and summarized in weekly reports prepared for submission. If particular thresholds are exceed, the report will call attention to those and document who was contacted regarding the exceedance. The report will discuss any recommendations to minimize the noise and vibration disruptions during construction.
