HMMH Celebrates National Aviation Day!

08.19.2015 | Diana B. Wasiuk |

To all our friends in the industry who smile when they catch a glimpse of a bumper sticker that says – I LOVE THE SMELL OF JET FUEL IN THE MORNING:

In 1939, President Franklin D. Roosevelt designated August 19th as the National Aviation Day in honor of Orville Wright’s birthday.  Three quarters of a century later aviation is still a source of excitement for millions and fuels both our economy and our national pride.  I can hardly keep up with all the innovation – we have:  all the promising mid- and far-term NextGen initiatives, patents for supersonic and low-level space craft, commercialization of Unmanned Aerial Systems, the race to re-usable commercial space vehicles… and so much more.  So, join Jake, me and all of us at HMMH in spreading our wings for aviation!
