Managing Consultant

Julia Nagy is a Senior Consultant in HMMH’s Aviation Services practice. She is a dynamic member of the HMMH team, with an educational background in Environmental Science and Policy, and strong professional experience in technical writing, project management, and communications. Julia’s work focuses on environmental and sustainability projects, including research, technical writing, regulatory analysis, and innovative problem solving. She has a depth of data collection and analysis experience, combined with a knack for creative data visualization.

Julia has a strong track record of fostering strong working relationships and enjoys tackling project logistics, planning, and management. In her previous position, she coordinated intra-agency training initiatives and program development in the Office of Research and Development at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Julia’s passion for sustainable infrastructure and the environment budded from internships early in her career at Portland International Airport and the Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) Environmental Affairs Committee. At ACI-NA she prepared briefs and policy memos on environmental issues in aviation, managed the development and analysis of the ACI-NA Environmental Affairs Benchmarking Survey, and assisted in planning ACI-NA’s annual Environmental Affairs conference.

Julia holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland. Julia is a credentialed Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), certified by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. Julia completed Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard Training in 2018. She is based in Washington, D.C.
