Julia Nagy is a consultant in HMMH’s Aviation Services practice. She is a dynamic member of the HMMH team, with an educational background in Environmental Science and Policy, and strong professional experience in technical writing and communications. Julia’s work focuses on aviation environmental and sustainability projects, including research, technical writing, data analysis and innovative problem solving. At her previous position at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Julia ensured that data management software solutions met business needs and requirements. She managed stakeholder expectations, documentation, and QA/QC for multiple applications.
Julia has a track record of fostering strong working relationships and enjoys tackling project logistics and planning. She spent two years in the Office of the Science Advisor at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency coordinating intra-agency training initiatives and contributing to program development. During her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, Julia interned for Airports Council International – North America’s (ACI-NA) Environmental Affairs Committee. There, she prepared briefs and policy memos on environmental issues, managed the development and analysis of their Environmental Affairs Benchmarking Survey, and assisted in planning ACI-NA’s annual Environmental Affairs conference. Julia completed Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard Training in 2018.
Julia holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland.
