Mixed-Use Development Greenhouse Gas Emissions Analysis

HMMH conducted a greenhouse gas (GHG) emission analysis for this mixed-use development project located adjacent to North Station in Boston, MA. Carbon dioxide emissions were estimated for direct and indirect sources affiliated with the Project for three operating conditions. Sustainable design elements were included in each operating condition to mitigate GHG emissions from the Project. The results of the analysis showed with implementation of all the sustainable design elements, carbon dioxide emissions would be greatly reduced compared to the code compliant condition.
