HMMH supported the planning and permitting of a proposed new commuter rail station along the heavily used New Haven Line in Orange, Connecticut. The proposed station is part of a public-private partnership that will include the new station, a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) surrounding the station, and a program of road and parking improvements. HMMH supported the project team in the analysis of noise and air quality impacts in the development of the Environmental Impact Evaluation. The analysis includes both roadway impacts and impacts from train operations along one of the busiest commuter rail lines in the country.
