HMMH supported the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in preparing an Acoustical Testing Plan (ATP) for their Sound Insulation Grant Programs, including providing expertise regarding acoustical testing, analysis and reporting protocols, review of the entire ATP document, and attending various meetings to answer questions from program managers and their acoustical consultants.
Prior to generation of the ATP, HMMH had provided acoustical monitoring services in the early 2000s for the City of Inglewood, California Residential Sound Insulation Program. The City manages one of the LAWA programs to mitigate noise generated from aircraft operations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
